Now that you uploaded your site, it is now time to build the site. Go to the website’s URL?, and if you need to, provide your database information. If not, you should be able to start setting up the site, and quickly move to building your content. If you are using WordPress, I will recommend that you activate the plugins you wish to activate before doing anything else. You would also want to setup your theme, and widgets.
If you want your WordPress installation to function more like a regular website without a blog, you would want to go to Settings > Reading, and change the first option to the home page of your website. You may want to go through the other settings to make sure you don’t need to make any other changes.
