If you are going to have a website, you need an FTP? client. While some host?s will create a WordPress driven website through an install process, I will recommend against this. I would want control over the content including the setting up of my own MySQL databases. Also, using your own databases will be a much cleaner option than using some random database, with some random tables.
Before using the FTP client, create a folder on your computer for the CMS? you would wish to use, and upload that folder to your site. You would also want a folder with your domain in it so you can change the table-prefixes which is especially used in WordPress. This all needs an FTP client to install.
ChromeOS PCs, and Windows 10 systems shouldn’t be your OS?. ChromeOS does not have an FTP client, and Microsoft is no longer support Windows 10, so any zero day attacks will not be fixed and delivered to your computer. If you can not afford a new computer, then I would consider installing Linux. From there, you would be able to install a free FTP client, and that would give you access to your account’s folders.
